Our goal is to provide you with the highest quality performance for your campaign.  In order for us to do this, we must adhere to a specific formula we have developed which requires time for us to derive the necessary data. On LinkedIn there is a time lag that doesn’t exist on some of the other social media platforms. LinkedIn users don’t use LinkedIn the way people use Facebook, they typically don’t check their LinkedIn accounts every day. Sometimes it may be two or three weeks before they respond to a connection request or a message we’ve sent. So if we roll out new targeting and then look at the data in the second week, we’re not going to know if that change made a difference because of that time lag of when people respond to connection requests and messages.
